The U.S Department of Energy (DOE) recently announced $50 million in grant funding for community-based projects between $500,000 – $5 million that will help ensure an equitable transition to a clean energy future in communities with 10,000 or fewer people. These grants will be the first available through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law-funded Energy Improvements in Rural or Remote Areas (ERA) program that will require no additional funding from awardees, which reflects the Department’s commitment to supporting communities of all sizes in their effort to deploy clean energy solutions that meet their unique needs. Join us for a webinar on May 30, 2023 that will provide an overview of the grant program, including information on eligibility, application process and funding requirements.
